Community Partnerships
The Red Cross donated sleeping Cots to the church and foundation. Because of the Red Cross, we were able to bless the Rockford Rescue Mission, New Life Covenant Church, and Parkway Garden Church in Chicago. Not only that, in association with the Red Cross, but the Buddist TZU Chi Foundation also donated 300 Blankets and 1000 NK95 Masks. These community partnerships are collaborating to bless the Homeless Missions and Compassion Ministries. Thank you to all the organizations for your love, passion, and care for humanity.
Thank you, Rebecca Hughley, Pastor Hughley, and the Step It Up Ministry at 1st Baptist Church in Elgin, Il. for donating 100 pairs of Tennis Shoes to the Trinity Baptist Community Compassion Center. TBCC serves McHenry County and surrounding areas with clothes and footwear donations. The Compassion Center partners with Harvest Baptist, Crystal Lake (Food Pantry), The Salvation Army, and Savers providing Food and Clothing to the Community. Serving Christ, Church, and Community…. Thank You, Lord, for allowing us the privilege to serve others for Your Glory. God is good.
Thank you, Home Depot for committing your resources, time, and efforts to build shelves in the Compassion Center. Because of you, we have extra space to house more clothing, shoes, and additional materials donated to meet the community's needs.

Game Changers Academy
“And the Children Shall Lead......."
COVID19 did not stop a special group of 9 children seeking to become leaders, entrepreneurs, CEO, and nonprofit execs. Game Changers Academy was created to provide a structured environment for young people seeking to change the world. Each week, each child are learning to develop a business plan. They are responsible for oral presentations, conducting economic analysis, and research, scanning the competitive environment, justifying the sustainability of their model, marketing, social media, budgeting, and developing an executive summary. The ages range from 7 to 11. They are from the Northern Suburbs, Chicago, and the East Coast. Isn't that fantastic? One of the kids in developing a nonprofit model because he has a heart to resource the homeless. We have chefs, gamers, and slime developers for therapeutic and sensory use. We have jewelry makers, and school supplies created out of rubber bands. The list goes on and on.
Please stay tuned for their exhibition events. They are working hard to make their dreams come true.
Game Changers Academy Graduation
Please keep them in prayer as they continue to build their business and nonprofit models!

Judson University Annual Community Prayer Breakfast
Love Family Leadership Luncheon
May is such a busy month for the Love Family Christian Foundation and we are thankful. The 2nd Annual Leaders Luncheon was a huge success. 70 nonprofits, agency leaders, spiritual leaders from Chicago, Kane County, West Chicago, DuPage County, McHenry County, Lake and Cook County convened to Collaborate, Connect and Communicate.
Dr. Gene Crume, Jr., President of Judson University opened the discussion with the Paradoxical Commandment - "If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow". The quote was taken from Kent Keith's book entitled, "Do It Anyway!" The Handbook for finding Personal Meaning and Deep Happiness in a Crazy World." DO IT ANYWAY! Even Mother Teresa put the quote up on the wall of her children's home in Calcutta.
We were challenged to continue "DOING MINISTRY TOGETHER both DOMESTICALLY and GLOBALLY. Dr. John Fuder - Moody Bible Institute, Founder and Director of 'Heart of the City', along with several nationally acclaimed books asked the question, "What is the MOVE of GOD for such a time is this?" He further reminded us that Prayer is "Woven" to the Process of Humility, Contriteness, and Trembling at God's Word. What a day of leading, learning and looking forward to future events with such an elite group, modeling and powerfully advancing the MOVEMENT OF OUR HOLY FATHER. Amen!

Congratulations Golden Ratio Robotics Team for winning the Connect Award
We are on our way to the World Championship in Detroit, Michigan.
We had an amazing day at state yesterday having so much fun doing everything. Our girls loved hosting the FIRST Ladies breakfast to inspire future female leaders, our pit crew enjoyed sharing their experience with the judges, and we loved being in the finals with our friends Turbo Charged and our new friends, Cog Champs. And, of course, we love our sponsors for helping us win the Connect Award and sending us to Worlds for the first time! Coach Melissa Ryan

BMO Volunteer Day
What a beautiful labor of love by BMO Harris Bank. They chose the Love Center to volunteer their services. They cleaned, they swept, they cut grass, they de-weeded many areas, and washed windows galore. We thank them for taking the time and making a difference through and through. #BMOHarrisBankVolunteerDay. #BMO. #LFCF. #TheLoveCenter.
